Mairangi Medical Centre provides a wide range of general medical services, some of which are listed below. In addition, a number of visiting medical specialists, and allied health professionals also provide services on site. We are continually exploring new options for improving the range of services offered. A recent interesting example of this has been the starting of a monthly clinic run by the Waitemata DHB on our premises for the screening of the eyes of diabetic patients.

Pilot Medical Examinations

Appointments can be made with Dr Francesco Lentini for Pilot medical examinations on:
Tuesday and Thursday between 9.30am and 4.30pm and
Wednesday between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
You will be asked to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment time to fill out the C.A.A application form. You will then spend 40 minutes with the nurse and 45 minutes with Dr Lentini. You will need to bring photo ID, your glasses if you wear them, and your current pilot licence if you hold one.

Dr Colin Barber MBChB, FRACS     Paediatric Otololaryngologist

Colin holds a clinic at Mairangi Medical Centre once a fortnight on Wednesday mornings. He specialises in Paediatric Ear Nose Throat (ENT) problems, but will also see adults.

Linda Page     Counsellor

Linda has been consulting at Mairangi Bay since 1997. She has a BA, Diploma in Counselling, Diploma in Applied Mental Health, and is a Member of New Zealand Association of Counsellors. She is ACC registered and is also a member of the CYPS care and protection resource panel. Linda has appointments Monday to Friday.
